University of Vermont Touts the Importance of Clinical Integration to Accelerate Precision Medicine in PierianDx Webinar Series
PierianDx, the forerunner in clinical genomic analysis, interpretation and reporting, announced today its latest online webinar entitled, “Accelerating Your NGS Testing Program with Clinical Integration: A Case Study” on March 9 presented by Dr. Nikoletta Sidiropoulos from University of Vermont Medical Center.
Dr. Sidiropoulos will discuss various ways clinical labs have established or expanded their NGS testing programs by implementing improved workflow and clinical integration into their organization. She will share her experiences and lessons learned as she has worked to evolve the university's precision medicine program.
Specific examples will be given on how to improve clinical lab workflow utilizing PierianDx’s Clinical Genomicist Workspace (CGW), starting with DNA or RNA samples and ending with a report of relevant variants to assist in clinical decision-making. At the end of the webinar, participants will have some real-world examples of how to accelerate their own personalized medicine initiatives from clinical experts in the field.
“We are excited to have one of the most valued members of our partner sharing network speak for our webinar series,” said PierianDx CEO Ted Briscoe. “The University of Vermont Medical Center has been and exceptional partner and provides a blueprint for a successful approach to precision medicine.”
Dr. Sidiropoulos will provide and in-depth look at the importance of integrating clinical care pathways and NGS testing standards along with the technology implementation.
“Having a robust platform like CGW is essential for accelerating precision medicine, but just as important is the multi-disciplinary organizational effort to incorporate NGS testing as routine standard of care at the clinical level,” Sidiropoulos said.
Those who attend the webinar will received a free insight paper written by Sidiropoulos on the subject. To register, go to: pieriandx.com/upcoming-events
